After a hiatus of almost six years, I am re-entering the blogging world. My name is Phil Andrews, I spent the last 11 years working in media and communications. For the last nine, I was the play by play voice of the Western Hockey League's Regina Pats and for the last six years I served as Director of Media and Communications for the club. I had the pleasure to broadcast almost 700 games in the WHL, call the 2017 WHL Championship Series and every game in the 100th Memorial Cup in Regina in 2018. In my time in the league, I have met so many incredible people and seen some amazing things. I have a passion for the WHL and junior hockey and look forward to some good discussion around the league as we forge ahead through this pandemic.
